Marine & Offshore Mechanical Engineering — Repair, Overhaul & Fabrication

Rotating equipment and shipboard mechanical systems kept turning — compressors, pumps, motors, fans, cranes and hydraulics repaired, overhauled and fabricated by MHA AUTOMATION for vessels, offshore assets and plants across Malaysia and Singapore.

On-board & Offshore Workshop Overhaul Fabrication PETRONAS Licensed

Rotating equipment, back in service

When a compressor, pump or fan goes down, the clock starts. MHA AUTOMATION's mechanical teams repair and overhaul the rotating equipment that keeps vessels and plants running: air-end and IGG compressors, pumps of all duties, AC motors — including rewinding — vent fans and their drives, with bearing inspection and replacement done properly, not patched.

Hydraulics, cranes and structural fabrication

Beyond rotating machinery we refurbish cranes and lifts, service hydraulic cylinders and valves, and fabricate steelwork up to complete gantry cranes. Fabrication is done to marine standards, matched to the corrosion and load realities of deck and terminal service.

On board, offshore or in the workshop

Our teams mobilise to vessels alongside, in shipyards and offshore — recent scopes include fluid swivel unit bypass works on FPSO Kikeh, offshore Sabah, covering offshore mechanical dismantling and re-installation. Heavier overhauls come back to our workshop in Masai, Johor, minutes from MMHE shipyard and Johor Port.

One mobilisation, full scope

Mechanical faults rarely travel alone — a seized fan drags a motor, a pump overhaul surfaces an instrument fault. Because MHA AUTOMATION also delivers electrical & instrumentation services and ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration, one team can close the whole finding: PETRONAS-licensed, ISO 9001:2015 certified, serving the marine and oil & gas industry since 2014.

Mechanical engineering FAQs

What mechanical equipment do you repair and overhaul?

We overhaul air-end and IGG compressors, pumps, AC motors (including rewinding), vent fans and motors, and hydraulic cylinders and valves; we also carry out bearing inspection and replacement, crane and lift refurbishment, and gantry crane fabrication.

Do you carry out mechanical work offshore or on board?

Yes. Our teams work on board vessels alongside, in shipyards and offshore — recent scopes include fluid swivel unit bypass works with offshore mechanical dismantling and re-installation on FPSO Kikeh, offshore Sabah.

Can you combine mechanical work with electrical and instrumentation scopes?

Yes. As a ONE-STOP-SOLUTION provider, the same mobilisation can cover mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and calibration scopes — one team, one point of responsibility, from engineering design and study through testing and commissioning.

Machinery down, or overhaul due?

Tell us the equipment and the window — we'll come back with the right solution, at the right time.
